Capturing Kirsten and Alex’s wedding at The Stables of Bendooley Estate was an absolute blast! Their big day took place in the charming town of Berrima in the Southern Highlands, with autumn colors making everything look like a fairy tale.

High School Sweethearts: Kirsten and Alex’s love story is straight out of a rom-com—they’ve been together since high school! Watching them go from teenage sweethearts to married couple was like seeing the final act of a love story years in the making. Their vows had everyone reaching for tissues and wondering how they could possibly look so good after all these years.

Getting Ready: The day kicked off with the bridal party getting all dolled up at The Rift in Bowral. Kirsten and her bridesmaids had a chill morning, full of laughs and a few happy tears. Meanwhile, Alex and his groomsmen were perfecting their James Bond impressions over at Nattai Lodge in Mittagong pouting whisky shots and showing off their dapper threads.

Ceremony at Hartzer Park Church: The ceremony was held at the beautiful Hartzer Park Church, surrounded by lush gardens and a peaceful lake. It was the perfect spot for Kirsten and Alex to say their heartfelt “I dos.” The church’s serene vibe set the stage for some seriously gorgeous moments.

Exploring The Stables: The Stables at Bendooley Estate were in full autumn bloom, the absolute perfect time of year for epic location shots in the Highlands. The burnt orange and deep reds of the autumn foliage, and the soft whispy kangaroo grass that paves the way to the venue made every snap look downright enchanting, like something out of a dream (or at least a really good Instagram feed).

Reception at The Stables, Bendooley Estate: The reception at The Stables was where rustic charm met elegance. Tall white centerpieces, candles, and vases of white roses transformed the place into a scene from a wedding magazine. The dance floor was wild, fun, and loud with Lebanese drummers out there encouraging everyone to dance. The night was packed with laughter, dancing, and speeches that had just the right amount of embarrassing stories and heartfelt moments.

Kirsten and Alex’s had the perfect mix between a traditional catholic church ceremony, showcased the natural beauty of the Southern Highlands in autumn and a luxe barn reception shingdig – what a combo!
