Kayla and Tom, are a pair of Aussies living in the UK. They had planned to get married in 2020 but like many Australians living overseas, covid threw a big spanner in their wedding plans and with travel restrictions there was a risk they couldn’t come home to Sydney for their own wedding celebration.
Jaspers Berry is a hidden gem on the South Coast; it’s an exclusive wedding venue reminiscent of a bygone era with historical buildings, magical gardens, ambient interiors with classical style. Jaspers is absolutely perfect for couples planning interstate or overseas as it is an all inclusive venue all the catering, wedding styling, interior decorations, floristry and even the wedding cake are all curated and arranged in-house, which makes planning a breeze.
Kayla & Tom were married in the beautiful outdoor courtyard under a canopy of white lanterns and fragrant trellis of jasmine. Their celebrant Sophie Coombes had the all the guests in stitches of laughter and there were even a few tears as she recounted the story of how they met and the proposal.
Their reception was in the Orangery and was sumptuous and refined, white linen and David Austin roses, cascades of white and green flowers, bespoke cutlery & glassware, bentwood chairs, it was stunning. However despite the formal decor and appearance, it just felt like being at home a great big celebration or a party. Especially as Kayla & Tom had been away for so long and after months of lockdown everyone just wanted to mingle, come together and celebrate.
